Kitchen & Dining Room

the large L-shaped room has two separate kitchen areas. One with a fully equipped kitchen to cook anything from breakfast to Christmas dinner, and the second with everything needed to prepare coffee, tea, toast, snacks or pre-dinner drinks without getting in the way of anyone cooking in the main kitchen area. Two islands provide space to chat with the cook or share a drink. The kitchens are stocked with plenty of crockery, glasses and cutlery and pots and pans of all sizes.

In the kitchen…

A large supply of crockery, cutlery and glassware, including plastic glasses for outdoor use.

Cocktail shakers, measures and glasses.
Teapots, cafetieres and a Nespresso machine with tea bags, a small selection of coffee pods, ground and instant coffee and sugar.
A plentiful supply of tea towels, washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, cling film, foil, baking parchment and kitchen roll

Cool bags, plastic containers, thermos, plates and picnic rugs for picnics
If you plan on having an afternoon tea we have some very pretty china that you can use (we only ask that you wash it up by hand) and antique tablecloths and napkins.
The utility room contains a washing machine, tumble dryer, sink and drying racks.

EAT OUTSIDE

BBQ

A wood fired BBQ (wood supplied) and a rack for the fire pit provide plenty of grill space. BBQ tools and unbreakable glasses are stored in the kitchen and a spare table can be found in the bothy.
