Answers to some of the questions you may be asked if you are organising the holiday:
There is ample space to dry and store coats and shoes and there is a bucket of spare children’s wellies (and probably a few spare rain coats)!
All bathrooms have a supply of toilet rolls and handwash.
Outside - there is ample parking for up to five cars
All beds (apart from Iona) are zip and link (super King size or 3ft twin) and have down duvets and high thread count linen. Non-allergenic duvets and pillows can be provided on request.
All bathrooms have underfloor heating, electric towel rails and shaver points. All showers are wet room style and have rain shower and hand held heads (apart from Islay which as an over bath shower).
Each bathroom is provided with bathsheets, hand towels, bathmats and locally sourced toiletries.
You can walk into town – going down is easy – coming back up the hill a little harder!
There are stunning views of Oban Bay and especially sunsets from The View Point – turn left out of the drive and walk to the end of the road. Children enjoy watching the ferries coming in and out of the harbour.
Oban has a Tesco, M&S (food only) Lidl and Aldi – for food shopping. Tesco does a click and collect service.
